Allie Faulkner

Described as a ‘revelation’ and ‘thrilling and engaging,’ (CVNC) soprano Allie Faulkner is a choral and chamber musician in the Philadelphia area.  A recent graduate of Westminster Choir College, she earned a Master of Music degree in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance.  As a member of the Westminster Choir, Allie was a soloist on their studio recording, The Heart’s Reflection: Music of Daniel Elder found on the Naxos label. 


Allie made her solo debut at Carnegie Hall in a performance of Mendelssohn's Elijah with Musica Sacra and the Orchestra of St Luke’s and was recently a soloist in the Philadelphia Orchestra’s performance of Bach’s St. Matthew Passion under the baton of Yannick Nezet-Seguin. Other solo performances from around the region include Bach’s St John Passion, Mozart’s Requiem and Britten’s Hymn to St Cecilia


As an ensemble singer, Allie has appeared with groups such as The Thirteen, Kinnara Ensemble, The Crossing, and Vox Fidelis.  She currently resides in Philadelphia where she is a staff singer at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church and maintains full schedule of musical engagements between Washington DC and New York.
