Artists interested in performing with The Thirteen should possess ample solo and ensemble experience at the highest levels, excellent musicianship skills, a positive attitude when making music with others, and a desire to perform ensemble music at the highest level.

The Thirteen provides compensation commensurate with or higher than other American professional ensembles. The Thirteen provides travel stipends and per diem for non-resident artists. The Thirteen contracts per concert cycle with each concert cycle occurring over a concentrated one to two weeks.

2. One professional reference of your choice and one professional reference who is a conductor. Please include phone numbers and email addresses.

3. Audio recordings including two solo vocal works in contrasting styles and languages, one of which should be a Baroque aria in German.

The Thirteen rarely has live audition dates; if a live audition is offered, it will only be offered after a review of the above materials.
