Eric Bash

Eric Bash is Vice President, Compliance & Privacy at NBCUniversal since 2021. He advises the company on consumer protection, content regulation, and privacy matters related to its video streaming service, Peacock. Previously, Eric worked in London at Ofcom, the United Kingdom’s media and telecommunications regulator, and at the Federal Communications Commission and the Federal Trade Commission in Washington. He received his A.B. from Duke University, and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. 

Eric is a life-long aficionado of “classical” music. He has a particular passion for vocal music, and has attended hundreds of live operatic and choral performances worldwide. He is also an amateur pianist, and was a trumpeter back in his high school and university days. He discovered The Thirteen after moving back from London to Washington in 2021, and has been a season ticket holder ever since.
